Please read the explanations below regarding the different functions of levers that are available.
Dummy Set:
Two levers, one mounted to each side of a door. Commonly used on pantry and hallway doors where a push/pull could occur from either side. A fully dummy set is often used in association with a ball catch.
Keyed Entry:
A lever set that locks with a key on the outside and with a push button or turn piece on the inside. Keyed entry functions are commonly used on exterior doors along with a deadbolt for added security.
Passage (Hall/Closet):
A lever set that does not lock. Passage function lever sets are used on closet and hallway doors.
Privacy (Bed/Bath):
A lever set that can lock from the inside with a push button or turn piece to allow privacy.
Single Dummy:
Single mounted lever that performs no function. Single dummy knobs are commonly used on pantry and hallway doors in association with a ball catch.
