Please read the explanations below regarding the different functions of narrow plate sets that are available.

Dummy Set:
Double mounted lever/knob with backplate, one on each side of the door. Dummy Sets are used on pantry and hallway doors where a push/pull could occur from either side. A Dummy Set is used in association with a ball catch.
Passage (Hall/Closet):
A lever/knobset with a backplate that does not lock. Passage function sets are used on closet and hallway doors.
Privacy (Bed/Bath):
A lever/knobset with a backplate that can lock from the inside with a push button or turn piece to allow privacy. Privacy function sets are used on bedroom and bathroom doors.
Single Dummy:
Single mounted lever/knob with backplate that performs no function. Single Dummy Sets are used on pantry and hallway doors in association with a ball catch.
