- Soho Escutcheon Handleset, Emergency Egress with 5485V Lever
- Solid forged brass
- Deadbolt and latch bolt are also constructed of solid brass
- Deadbolt is furnished with specially designed reinforcing strike constructed of high grade steel for ultimate strength and durability
- Designed for easy installation in standard pre-bored wood or metal doors
- Accommodates door thickness of 1.75". Conversion kit available for 2.0" and 2.25" thick doors.
- 5-pin keying cylinder
- For LEFT handed doors

Question: Yes I would like to know if it makes a difference on keyed differently or keyed alike in order for the door to open while its locked from the inside by simply turning the lever handle? I need it to open when I turn the handle even when its locked.

Answer: Keying alike and key different pertain to if you are ordering more than one of these and you would like them to operate with the same set of keys. The lever simultaneously retracting the deadbolt when pushed down is called "Emergency Egress" and this handle set does operate in that way.
