Door Knobs

The door knob is the most commonly used type of handle on doors that allow for its opening and closing. We supply door knobs in a wide variety of shapes, styles and finishes. Door knobs should be looked at as more than a functional piece of hardware as they not only add monetary value to the home, but also allow you to create a unique design and feel throughout your space. Architects and designers often refer to door knobs and finish hardware as the “jewelry” of the home.

Passage (Hall/Closet):
A door knob set that does not lock. Passage function door knobs are used on closet and hallway doors.

Privacy (Bed/Bath):
A door knob set that can lock from the inside with a push button or turn piece to allow privacy.

Single Dummy:
Single mounted knob that performs no function. Single dummy knobs are commonly used on pantry and hallway doors in association with a ball catch.

Dummy Set:
Two knobs, one mounted to each side of a door. Commonly used on pantry and hallway doors where a push/pull could occur from either side. A fully dummy set is often used in association with a ball catch

Keyed Entry:
A door knob set that locks with a key on the outside and with a push button or turn piece on the inside. Keyed entry functions are commonly used on exterior doors along with a deadbolt for added security.
