- Adjustable backset latch fits 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm) pre-bored doors.

Question: 1) Is this the proper set for an Active Left-Hand Outswing door? 2) In addition to two bore holes, does installation of this set require a through hole (in addition to the two bore holes)?

Answer: Annette, This is the correct set for a left hand out swing door. You will need to drill out a smaller hole at the bottom for the "through bolt".
