Question: Can I adjust the pin that sticks down from the bottom of door 1.25 inches? I have a large gap at the bottom of my Door. (Carpet taken out.)

Answer: The movement of the rod is based on the fixed mount closest to the knob. there is about 7/8" of an inch movement in the rod.
