Question: Hello, Does this cylinder fit the deadbolt option in Schlage Camelot Single cylinder F-Series Model: F58CAM619 as well as the Keyed entry Grade 1 Deadbolt from B-Series. Curious if the cores are interchangeable or just the tail pieces are different? Thank you, DM

Answer: The 23-105 fits both the F58CAM exterior deadbolt and the B60 residential deadbolt. It is possible tail pieces my have to be switched.

Works flawlessly, keyed alike as requested. I was able to change the tailpiece and use one with my FE595 electronic lever. The other was used in a deadbolt. Easy to swap out!

Worked like a charm, doesn't fit in door knobs, it's B only. Knobs are compressible so don't make that mistake. But DIY saves $300 in CA

Replaced an older cylinder so we could use the same key for our slider as the other doors in our house. I had to cut the tailpiece to fit in the smaller door housing, but once I did, it worked fine. As a heads up for any in a similar situation, the tailpiece in this kit is a much harder steel than what is present on something like the "Prime-Line E 2104". I could not bend it with pliers or cut it with snips to shorten it, so I had to cut it off with a sawzall with a metal blade and then file it smooth. Once I did that, it installed fine and is working great on our slider for about a month now.

This was my scenario. A new Pella back door with the multi-point latch. My front door has a new Baldwin lock set. Pella went to the quickset style key a few years ago. So when this keyway arrived I took it to my locksmith who keyed it to my Baldwin front door set. Then I swapped the tailpiece from the Pella and put this in. Not the easiest process but now my house has all matching locks and 1 key for all! Success!

I ordered 2 keyed-alike cylinders to match an existing deadbolt. They were shipped promptly and work exactly as I expected. Installed easily into my existing deadbolts. The finish isn't exactly the same, but it's close enough and much better than the brass I had before. Overall, it was very easy and much cheaper to this myself rather hire a locksmith rekey my locks. I'd do it all over again if I had to.
