- Deadbolt by key outside and turn piece inside.
- When Deadbolt is thrown, stop is automatically activated making outside thumb piece rigid. Inside knob retracts latch and Deadbolt simultaneously but DOES NOT free outside thumb piece.
- When extended, Deadbolt deadlocks latch bolt.
- Sold with faceplate and strike

Question: dose this item come with the handleset and knob, or is it simply the internal locking structure

Answer: The 6021.R is only the mortise lock body and doesn't come with any trim. That would have to be ordered separately.
