Sideplates

Passage (Hall/Closet):
A sideplate door knob/lever set that does not lock. Passage function sideplate door knobs/levers are used on closet and hallway doors.

Privacy (Bed/Bath):
A sideplate door knob/lever set that can lock from the inside with a push button to allow privacy.

Dummy Set:
Two knobs/levers, one mounted to each side of a door. Commonly used on pantry and hallway doors where a push/pull could occur from either side. A fully dummy set is often used in association with a ball catch

Privacy Set with Thumbturn:
A sideplate door knob/lever set that can lock from the inside with a turn piece to allow privacy.
